In 2019, Elliot Howsie was recommended by Senator Jay Costa and nominated by Governor Tom Wolf to fill a vacancy on the Court of Common Pleas. Through bipartisan support, he was unanimously recommended for approval by the PA State Senate Judiciary Committee and unanimously confirmed by the entire Senate body to serve as a Court of Common Pleas Judge.
In Allegheny County, we have the capability of electing judges that preside over our courts. That means that the people have the rare ability to elect, and therefore hold accountable, the most qualified candidates who will interpret our laws fairly and justly.
Judge Elliot Howsie is asking for your support, as well as your vote in 2021, so that he can continue to serve on the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
